I asked Leilani if I could do something I had never done before 🙈 … & she said yes!
I have been behind the scenes of over 60 weddings as a photographer, so I really know weddings inside and out! I now photograph elopements (which are different from the traditional weddings but a lot is the same) and really wanted to start offering my elopement couples an all inclusive experience!
So I did just that!!! I planned this entire elopement & small (but epic) reception and it was the most special day ever. Lots of happy tears were shed and i just felt so grateful that I was about to do this for them!!
I know it’s a day we will all never forget and I can’t wait to do planning + pictures for mote elopements in the future!!!
Here’s what I did for her..
- location scouted until I found the perfect spot
- figured out the easiest way for them to get up there in wedding attire (we went with the skylift)
- I send florist options until we found the perfect one, then sent inspo pictures until we had the idea for the perfect bouquet for her!
- I did the same with the wedding cake – I looked through and send several bakers, their pricing, and their work until we found the perfect match and design.
- I also did this with officiants, hair and make up, and videographers!
Essentially, I took care of the WHOLE DAY! All she had to do was hire me, sit back, relax, and ENJOY her engagement! That’s why I really wanted to start planning elopements. I see first hand how stressful wedding planning is and I really wanted to take away that stress and make my brides have a POSITIVE experience that they can look back on and not regret!
