Kelsi + Josh – Colorado Portraits
Are you wanting a big wedding in where you are from to celebrate with all your friends and family.. but really wish that you could get epic destination photos?! Kelsi + Josh got the best of both worlds!!!
After their big Kentucky wedding, they picked me up from the airport (note: most of the times I just fly to the destination alone, but Kelsi and Josh have become a lot more like friends than clients to me) and we headed to Colorado!
What was so cool is I got to crash the start of their honeymoon – I took some photos of them the night before we did our photoshoot and they are just so chill and sweet and really show of them as a couple… cozy, comfy, and chill.
The next morning, we woke up at like 5am and drove up to the mountains and hiked in the dark (yeah it was kinda scary but that made it even more fun)!! We got to the top of the mountain right as the sun came up and got these epic photos below.
I will never forget this trip / shoot. It was epic in every way and even though this was months ago as I am typing it now, it still makes me remember why I love my job so dang much.
Kelsi + Josh – I can’t thank you all enough for always trusting in me, my vision, and my creative process AND going above and beyond to make MY day… from a day of wedding goodie bag, to picking me up and driving me to the airport, and letting me stay with you all for a night of your honeymoon so that I didn’t have to stay somewhere alone, I will never forget your alls trust in me and kindness, I am a fan of your alls for life!!!
