Intimate Proposal in Art Gallery
Zach planned the perfect proposal for Veronica at 21C in downtown Lexington—one of the most unique spots in the city. This boutique hotel is not only a beautiful place to stay but also doubles as an art gallery and restaurant, making it such a creative and stylish location for a proposal. The setting was modern yet intimate, the perfect backdrop for such a special moment.
What made it even more perfect was that Veronica had no idea what was coming! Since they were already dressed up for a military ball that evening, Zach knew it would be the perfect opportunity to surprise her. The moment he dropped to one knee, her reaction was absolutely priceless. She was completely shocked—in the best way—and the joy on her face was undeniable. It was one of those moments that I live for as a photographer, capturing raw, emotional reactions that will be cherished forever. I even found myself tearing up behind the camera!
But Zach wasn’t done with the surprises just yet! After the proposal, he had arranged for all of Veronica’s closest friends to come into town to celebrate with them. The look on her face when she saw them was just as emotional as the proposal itself. It was such a thoughtful and meaningful way to celebrate the beginning of their engagement.
And let’s talk about that ring—absolutely STUNNING! The way it sparkled under the lights made for some of the most beautiful shots.
I absolutely love photographing proposals because they are filled with so much genuine emotion—joy, surprise, love, and sometimes even happy tears. Capturing these once-in-a-lifetime moments is such an honor, and Zach and Veronica’s proposal was definitely one for the books!
