Santa Barbara Engagement / Elopement
Oh my gosh, this Santa Barbara engagement session was absolutely unreal! From the golden California sun to the stunning coastal backdrop, every moment with Taylor and Rodney felt like something out of a dream. Their love, laughter, and effortless chemistry made this session so much fun—we were smiling the entire time!
I titled this blog engagement/elopement because, honestly, this could have been a full-on elopement! The location, their perfectly coordinated outfits, and the romantic atmosphere created the ideal setting for an intimate wedding. All we needed was a simple ceremony, a bouquet, and maybe a little cake, and it would have been the ultimate elopement inspiration. This session proves that sometimes, less is more—love, connection, and a breathtaking location are all you really need for magical photos.
As a destination wedding photographer, I travel about once a month, capturing love stories in stunning locations. One of the best parts of my job is meeting couples like Taylor and Rodney, who take advantage of my travel schedule to book their engagement session. They met me in Santa Barbara while I was there for another shoot, and it was the perfect opportunity to create something special without the added travel costs.
