WOWOWOW what a DREAM!
Essence and Andrew shared the most beautiful wedding days in one of the most gorgeous places I have ever been (and I have been a lot of places hehe 29 countries and counting)!!
They rented an Airbnb that was stunning (pictured below) and all got ready there, then they hired a driver to drive us all over to the wedding venue, which was breathtaking!! The LeCote had an unreal view of the ocean and provided a perfect place for these two to get married surrounded by their closest family and best friends!!
After the ceremony, they shared first dances and then had a fun cocktail hour, followed by family portraits and couple portraits with a sunset to die for! After this, the driver took us to the reception venue, which was a fancy little restaurant right on the ocean. After dinner and drinks, they decided to do a fun jump in the ocean to end their iconic day!
Micro / intimate weddings are truly my passion. Even though there are less people and most of the time not a wedding party, I still recommend a 6-8 hour package. The smaller guest count allows for more time dedicated to not only bride and groom portraits, but also the in between moments as well. If you are booked back to back to back, it doesn’t allow too much time for the organic in between. With more hours for photos and less people to photograph, you truly get to have an authentic day catered to YOU! & even if we need to change the schedule, it doesn’t really matter because it’s just your closest friends and family, so there isn’t as much pressure for everything to be perfect! It also obviously allows me more time to get creative all day and allows the couple to have a stress free day!!
If you have any questions about intimate weddings or elopement and / or how much time time I think you would need based on my professional opinion, don’t hesitate to reach out! I am also more than happy to talk to you about how destination weddings work and where to start. I even do elopement planning as well (see attached blog post below).
Anywho, here’s some of my favorite photos I created from Essence + Andrew’s magical Santorini wedding!!
