I loveee senior season every year! For college grads it is usually from March – April (and sometimes in November / December for winter graduates) and for high school grads, we normally do multiple sessions across senior year to really capture and showcase your personality through all the seasons (and sports, clubs, hobbies, etc)!
Senior pictures are an important way to capture memories of the end of high school and college and the beginning of a new chapter in life. Here are some tips to help you get the most out of your senior photo session:
Plan ahead. Schedule your photo session in advance to ensure availability and to give yourself enough time to plan for the shoot!
Choose outfits that reflect your personality and style. Bring a variety of clothing options that are comfortable and make you feel confident.
Consider bringing props that showcase your interests or hobbies, such as musical instruments, sports equipment, or books. You can also show off clubs you were apart of, or really just anything that is unique to you!
Think about locations that have meaning to you or that provide a nice backdrop for your photos. This could be a park, beach, or a cityscape. For college grads, think about spots around campus that mean a lot to you!
Bring a friend or family member to help you feel relaxed and comfortable during the photo session. They can also help carry things around (like the props you are bringing and your cap and gown)!
Relax and have fun! Senior pictures should be a celebration of your accomplishments and the exciting things to come in your future!!
Remember, these photos will be cherished memories for years to come, so take your time to plan and enjoy the experience!
