TIPS FOR A MODERN ENGAGEMENT SESSION
Here are some tips to make your engagement session modern and trendy:
- Choose a unique location: Instead of going for traditional locations, choose a unique location that speaks to your personalities. It can be a rooftop bar, an urban alleyway, or a modern art gallery. You could even choose a place you all like to spend a lot of time together (for example: your favorite coffee shop)!
- Incorporate props: Use props that represent your interests, hobbies, or shared memories. You can use items such as bicycles, vintage cameras, balloons, or even your favorite book.
- Dress up: Dress in modern and trendy attire that represents your personal style. Consider selecting outfits that complement each other or have a coordinated color scheme. You can even do one dressy out fit and then a casual outfit to switch it up… I always suggest that you pick outfits that you feel confident in and that you feel like represent your alls personalities!
- Play with lighting: I LOVE flash photos – so we can play around with flash at night, catch sunset, or even pop indoors for some flash photography to give off that cool vibe.
- Experiment with poses: Try out different poses that feel natural to you both. Play with movement and try out candid shots that capture your dynamic and unique connection… never fear – I will help you with all of that!! I always try and make sure everyone feels comfortable in front of my camera and has so much fun!!
- Get creative with your photographer: Share your vision with me and collaborate to come up with unique ideas that capture your personalities and relationship!!! I LOVE helping my clients Pinterest boards come to life!!!
Remember, the most important thing is to have fun and be yourselves. The more authentic and natural you are, the more memorable and modern your engagement session will be!!
